A lovely photo of Dechmont. In particular, this is the firing range and was photographed around 1964. The area was clearly marked to prevent walkers and trespassers from wandering in. A flag system allowed passers by to note if the range was being used, though the loud noises, I’m sure would surely be a giveaway.
