my Mum had a friend called Helen Morton, her Mum and Dad lived in Monteith Place in Blantyre. Helen was a weekly visitor to our house on a Monday night and was our Godmother. Was this John Morton her Dad? Helen was born around 1928? She had a brother called Jack.
