Pte David Kenohan

 

83056135_1096384780722313_152619944876441600_nPrivate David Kenohan was just 34 years old when he was killed on Saturday 4th May 1918 following wounds he had received whilst fighting in Egypt.

Some records have his surname as Kernohan, or Kernoghan

The Blantyre man was fighting with the 5th Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. David was married to Elizabeth Sneddon.

This is my Great Grandfather.
I don’t remember seeing any photos of him before.
I’ve attached a picture of my Great Grandmother Elizabeth and their only child, a daughter, Peggy.

Alex Rochead supplied many more documents for David. One should be careful when researching this as clearly there are many different spellings of his surname.
