They say if you want to get ahead, get a hat. That certainly happened for 2 girls from Priory Bridge, who joined up with 2 boys who had also made Easter crafts!
The four children had won the 1980 Priory Bridge Residents Easter Parade. Pictured are Gary Crawford, Shona Fullerton, Scott Clarke and Susan Conkie chosen over and above 100 other children. The girls wore Easter bonnets and the boys had easter eggs.
The Easter contest was held in Blantyre Community Centre which was a fun day of goodies and easter surprised.
