A further mystery photo of Blantyre ladies. This photo was shared by Margaret Stewart, the location unknown and long forgotten. From the 1910’s or so, the remarkable thing about this photo of 2 unknown ladies must surely be that the older lady could have been born as early as the 1820s – 30s.
Again, its unlikely we’ll ever know more about the photo, or if this little run down house with broken windows and a picture frame to keep out the draughts, was ever theirs. It’s a great photo nonetheless and certainly makes for some further thought.
