Jessie Caldow I worked there in the early fifties for several years, in the business office. One of my tasks was to calculate (on a slide rule) the bonus’s of the piece workers. I think they were called “the basting stitch pullers? I made some lifelong friends from working there.

Kenny Beecroft My mum is at the front , Mary Beecroft ( nee Cameron ) and her best friend at the time is on her right shoulder Jean Brownlie ( nee Leishman ) .
I can’t remember any of the other ladies names but I will when I speak to my mum , she has this photo somewhere as I’ve seen it over the years . I’m guessing it was around 1956/57 and my mum is 80 yrs old in October . Brilliant photo and my mum will love this post . ❤️❤️❤️

    Hello everyone, my mum worked here in the early 60s, if anyone remembers her, or has any photos, please share, her name was Agnes Mcguinness, married william Earlie.

    My mother and father both worked there in the early fifties, met and married, so am guessing if not for Hector Powes – I wouldn’t be here today…..
