Kathy Brown at Hasties, 1962

7 - Kathy Brown, National petrol station, Hasties Farm 1962Completing our look at Hastie’s Farm and the fantastic information Lon McIlwraith has provided.

Bob Brown’s wife Kathy, uniform and all, serving petrol in the forecourt of his National petrol station outside Hastie’s! The photo is stamped January 1962 on the reverse. The glass office is in the background.

Lon added, “Later a flat steel truss roof was added over the pumps. The car looks like a real oldie. In the background is the old barn building that later became Hasties Farm Front Room. “
