Local professional photographer, Paula Veverka of Main Street, High Blantyre has scooped first prize in the ‘National Xperience Photography Awards 2017’!

The accomplished Lanarkshire wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer was nominated earlier in the year and was this weekend invited along to Barry, in Wales to attend the awards ceremony on the evening of Sunday 19th November 2017.

Given the high standard of professional photography on display, Paula was absolutely delighted when judges announced she had won the Category for photographing children aged 5 – 12. Her winning photo was a stunning black and white image of Larkhall youngster, Phillip Spence. (6)

Paula, who works from her studio in High Blantyre is no stranger to collecting photography awards, but this latest one being a National consideration was much appreciated and considered very special.

The Xperience Photography Awards are given to elite photographers within the UK who keep pushing new trends and styles and have a particular “eye” for what works well in photography. The Awards are designed to stimulate and recognise creativity, client interaction, customer service and for making customers feel entirely at ease, with a memorable photography experience of quality, professional images.
