Our family is so lucky to have many hours of cine footage of when we were little. My dad loved his 1970’s cine camera. Sorting through it all, I found this little hidden, treasured gem.
It’s Summer 1976 (a hot summer!), and I’m 5 years old, the same age as my daughter is now. Out in the back garden at 10 Stonefield Crescent, High Blantyre. I’m playing outside with my sister Joanne. A time when kids went OUTSIDE to play, long before gadgets, video games. A time before my brother and other sister too!
