I’d like to say thanks to all 11,900 people on this page who follow Blantyre Project posts so avidly here each day. Who would have thought this little town would attract so much attention not just in Lanarkshire, but from further afield and ex-pats all over the world!

I was born in High Blantyre in 1946, left it (not my choice ! ) in 1948 and spent ALL my Summer Holidays at my Grans until 1957 when she died. Visit the house I was born in nearly every year and High Blantyre has changed so much since the 50’s . I really enjoy seeing the old pictures you post. Thank you very much.
