1910 Stoneymeadow Road

A lone figure stands on top of Generals’ Bridge on Stoneymeadow Road around 1910.

The scene today still looks very rural, but the trees themselves very different. Significant tree felling took place along Stoneymeadow Road around the time of the first world war. This colourised photo shows Autumnal colours.
