Beatons Coaches Ltd – a modern Luxury coach hirer. The family run business made available their buses for private and contract hires. Situated at 14 John Street, Low Blantyre they had coaches with 33, 49 and 53 seats available. Elizabeth Glass I think the mum’s name was Sal she was related to the Boyd family who lived in the tenement behind Asda.Dont know exactly how but they were also related to Davie Cooper I think his mum was Mattie I should have listened to my mum when she told me about them we used to visit the Beaton family.I also think there was a son called Jim.
