This photo is thought to be Blantyre Vics, taken in the early 1920s. With their familiar dark shirts and lights shorts of the era, socks with distinctive stripes. The location is unknown but may have been at Castle Park, at Forrest Street.
Blantyre Victoria Football Club are long established in Blantyre and won the Scottish Junior League Cup in 1893 and still going strong today.
