2015 Councillor Jim Handibode
It was with sadness I heard that Blantyre Councillor Jim Handibode had passed away at St Andrew’s Hospice, last Saturday on 19th September. He was one of 4 elected councillors for Blantyre, representing the area since 1995. He will be missed by many people. A by election will take place in due course to fill his role.
My thoughts are with Jim’s family at this sad time. He leaves wife Elizabeth and three daughters. His funeral will take place this Saturday morning, at St Joseph’s RC Church, Blantyre.
