2015 Pits, Ponies, People & Stories
Some breaking news>> The Heritage Lottery funded project, “Pits, Ponies, People & Stories” is due to be unveiled in a series of performances next month in Hamilton. The first year pupils of 4 local schools, of which Blantyre is represented by Calderside, have created a link to mining heritage which is now to be shared with adults and children alike. This is a great family day out to see this performance which takes place in Hamilton Town House on 20th May 2015 at 7.15pm.
For the last year, I’ve been subscribed to their updates and now received an invitation by post to attend. I have permission from their volunteer co-ordinator to extend this invitation to people here on Blantyre Project.
Tickets are free but need to be reserved. This can be done through the Hamilton Town House box office- 01698 452299. First come, first served.
