Looking through old newspapers, I stumbled upon a sizeable outdoor concert held in Blantyre in on 14th May 1938. The venue was the outdoor concert arena at David Livingstone Centre (at the time only 9 years old). The outdoor concert arena is no longer there, replaced by the Africa Pavilions and gardens.
