Blantyre Project Monthly Newsletter for December 2014 is now on sale. Available in double sided colour A4 for just 50p, every penny goes to The Haven at Victoria Street. The festive edition of the Newsletter is available to buy now from Jinxys and Jimmy Mays at Main Street, High Blantyre and also from Royal Bank of Scotland and Blantyre Library, Glasgow Road. Every edition contains a £3 discount voucher for the new book! (taking it to the same price as was at the festive market and book launch night)
October’s collection raised a further £55 and together with the donation of £200 I personally made today for part November
The Haven
sales of the new book, that’s another £255 raised for The Haven! Adding to the previous total for 2014 means that over £727 has been raised this year. Speaking to Connie at the Haven earlier today, I know this is graciously appreciated and thanks go out to everybody who put money into those yellow collection tins. With several ideas hopefully coming to fruition, I can absolutely guarantee Blantyre Project will go into 2015 in a strong position to raise a LOT more money for the Haven. How wonderful that such interest in Blantyre’s history means YOU are raising money for this important local charity.
