A charming photo of the ever changing Blantyre Works Village showing the old Pey Brig spanning the Clyde. Taken in the 1930s, the postcard refers to the Livingstone Memorial and is definitely after the houses being knocked down on the quadrangle (next to the school pictured). Indeed, the Village school wasn’t to last much longer after this photo was taken.
