1916 Chrissy, Margaret and John Duncan
The little boy in this photo is my grandfather, John Duncan. Pictured here in 1916 (coming up on 100 years ago) he’s dressed in his Sunday best and sits beside older sister Chrissy and younger sister Margaret, both of whom were my great aunts.
The location of the photo is unknown, but they were living at the time at Broompark Road, at a house called Enterkin.
John died a few months after I was born in 1971. Chrissy and Margaret lived long lives as spinsters until the 1990s.
