Book deal with The National Trust!

David Livingstone CentreI’m pleased to announce that having recently been approached by the National Trust to sell my book at David Livingstone Centre, I’ve now concluded a deal that will see “Blantyre Project – A Journey in Time Volume 1” (the first book), being sold at the gift shop at the centre!

There, amongst the books on sale in the giftshop, from the end of this month will be Blantyre Project! This is a welcomed step as it establishes a reliable and permanent OFFLINE means in the local area, to pop in and buy, not just this first book, but hopefully others published by Blantyre Project in future. It will allow anybody without a computer to be able to buy local history books which is exciting and opens up a new audience beyond that of social media.

bookAs people may be aware a significant part of the profits of my books are going to the Haven. The exception to this will be the books bought at David Livingstone Centre, which should see the National Trust itself benefit. These are BOTH causes I would love to see assisted and of course all 100% of profits will continue to go from the monthly newsletters to the Haven. It is my way of getting history out to people, raising money for a respected historical society and for a charity very close to my heart.

The first order of books is being dispatched to David Livingstone centre this week.
