My late mum had this little newspaper clipping cut out. (obviously meaning something to her). It says “We have a phrase in Scotland that they don’t have in other countries: “We’re a’ Jock Tamson’s Bairns”. – It’s a wonderful phrase containing the idea that whoever we are, whatever station in life, we are ALL equal.”
Brilliant and i like to think that applies to all of Blantyre’s community.
