This programme shows my mum and a few other family members taking part in the Anderson Church (Stonefield Rd) Drama Group play on 1st and 2nd May 1969. The play was called “A Month of Sundays”. The programme tickets cost 3 shillings. Mum (Janet Duncan) played the part of “Susan”. If there was EVER a time I could go back in time to see something, this would have been worth it!

It’s just something i cant imagine mum doing, up on stage, acting and singing. This was just 2 months before dad arrived in Scotland. Maybe you know the rest of the Blantyre actors, likely to have been in their 20s, then.
