My family have mixed stories of how our grandfather died and I was wondering if you could find any newspaper reports about the rta he was involved in on 11th September 1943. His death certificate says he died of a fractured skull and was seen after death by Arthur A Gordon. Place of death was cooperative hall, Herbertson St, Blantyre.

I believe the accident happened on Glasgow Rd Blantyre and involved a bus. I am curious if it made the local paper and don't really know how to research it.
