My uncle was born in Blantrye in 1900. My grandfather Andrew Gibson was born in Tweedmouth in 1864 and my grandmother Barbara Hood was born in Belford in 1873. They married in 1889 and had moved to Tynemouth by the time their first child was born in 1890. They had 13 children but 2 of them were born in Scotland .. Robert M Gibson was born in Blantyre 2.6.1900 at 49 Merry's Rows, Blantyre and John Thomas Gibson had been born 29.8.1894 at 26 Bandykes Rows, Newton, Cambuslang. Both addresses being colliery houses I think. I want to find out who was living at those addresses as they were probably family, and with such a common name as 'Gibson' it's hard to trace people without some clues!!!
