Hi Paul, the above WHMG was a Police Constable living at 45, Victoria Street, Blantyre in 1926 when my wife's father George was born. WHMG was married to Cathrine Sinclair. Anecdotaly the family think he was assaulted at a Miners dispute when a car starting handle was thrown from the crowd hitting him on the head(we have been unable to verify this). He died in Glasgow RI aged 35yrs from meningitus possible connected to the assault? He has a surviving daughter age 92 who is anxious to establish where her father is buried so any info on nearby cemetarys would be appreciated.
