Hi, hope you can help. I’m looking into Alexander’s life. Married according to records in 1945 in Hamilton, the only close record is a Blantyre marriage to Alexander  Meikleroy, possible shortened to Roy being born in Ireland. Question would a Blantyre 1845 marriage be recorded by Alexander in later records as Hamilton. ? Also Alexander worked Hallside Farm and Back o Hill farm in Cambuslang. Do you know we’re I could find records of this. Long shot but would there be any local records around Blantyre to provide additional information.
