I wonder if you can help me to find our more about my father's family who came from Blantyre and left in the 1930s for Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire looking for work. My grandfather name was Daniel, married to Mary but I don't have birth dates for either. Daniel was rumoured to have gone to Spain the fight in the civil war, he was, so the story goes, an anarchist and came home badly wounded. Children's names were: John, Agnes, Eric, Joseph, James, Anne, Eileen, Maureen, Daniel. I have no further information other than they may have lived in Victoria Crescent. Any information, however small, would be just brilliant.
