I would be most grateful if you could help me trace some information on my G. Grandfather and his Parents.

His name is William McGinty born 1874 at Middle Row, Blantyre Works. Blantyre.

His parents were James McGinty died 1879 and Elizabeth Henderson.

William was married to Mary Craig Thomson McLachlan.

I would like to visit Blantyre in the next few months to visit the area William was born (If it’s still there)? I would very much appreciate any information from you or others that may help me understand their life there prior to my visit.
