Hi Paul , I\'m looking for information on a soldier of ww1 who won the m.m. I am not looking for information from any military archive, because I have some of that already , and a lot have been lost that history has been lost to time . I was wondering  if the local papers at that time would have reported on how he won his m.m. his name is Matthew Fraser , I have seen on some documents the middle name Hamilton , but I know that is also a area near Blantyre. he served with the Scottish rifles no 2149 and 35th battalion machine gun corps 25924 , I can\'t confirm his birth date, but think he was born in 1896. Just hoping you have some newsier archives
