Hi I have just found your excellent site! I am researching my direct ancestor Ann Lyon, who was a twin of Margaret. They were children of Robert Lyon, a Wright from Balnhill? The handwriting of the place name is hard to read! They were born Dec 19 1740 and baptised 8-1-1741 in Blantyre. A son Hugh was born to Robert 10th October 1744 and baptised 20th October 1744. Any information would be gratefully received as I live in Australia!

My email is ramaree28@gmail.com

Many thanks for your informative site!
