Hi There hoping you can help I am trying to find out where Livingstone Hall was located. According to my great-grandparents marriage registration they were married at Livingstone Hall December 20, 1901 - Thomas Jamieson and Margaret Hepburn Duncan were their names, I have found them in previous census living in Blantyre so I am hoping Livingstone Hall is also in Blantyre, any sense of where is was?  Thanks

Hi Kathleen.. I am currently working on my family tree and your great grandparents are on it.  I am working on their branch of the family at the moment, which is why I have come across this post.  Is there any way we could make contact?  Thanks..Lorraine

Hi Kathleen - the Livingstone Memorial Church Hall still exists today. Built in 1894, its is located on the north side of Glasgow Road, Blantyre directly behind the existing Livingstone Memorial Church. Part of the Church of Scotland. Today it is used by various organisations including the scouts and can accommodate small parties and events. Paul
