Hi.. just came across your fab site and wondered if anyone can help me .. my husband’s dad was Robert Kane born 22nd February 1933 to Michael Kane and Annie McGowan ..Michael’s parents were Michael and Janet Nesbit.  Robert (Bob) moved down to England in the 1950’s for national service and don’t think he ever came back? My husband knows very little about his Blantyre family apart from his dad had a brother called Thomas was went to the states and an uncle of the same name who went to New Zealand .. we have just started looking so would appreciate any help anyone has .. many thanks Fiona Kane (fiefie@virginmedia.com)
