My grand father was born in Blantyre on August 7th 1916. His father was a coal miner who had married his wife on Nov. 5th 1915 in Blantyre too. Both spouses were Spanish. His name was Jose Moreno, hers was Carmen Ortega. My granddad was named after his father. I don't know when they settled in Scotland, but they left in 1916. I had my DNA sampled and the reults are quite a shock to me as I realize that I have Scottish origins... I would greatly appreciate any information you might have about my family...
