My great, great grandmother was I believe Margaret Livingstone born High Blantyre 1828. Died in Glasgow 1903. Parents were Janet Grant died Glasgow 1872 age 84 and Donald Livingstone a cotton dyer. Although I can find mention of a Donald Livingstone (Levingstone) in many online articles I either can’t make the information fit my Donald or prove that it is right. Margaret’s  husband was John Campbell born High Blantyre 1827. Died in Glasgow 1900. He was an engine finisher. John’s parents were Archibald Campbell & Elizabeth Brown. Janet Grant’s parents were Thomas Grant, a flax spinner and Margaret Webb. It was my intention to leave the search at this point but The National Library have confirmed that my Great Aunt Jessie 1839-1970 (Janet Grant Campbell) went to Nyasaland & Northern Rhodesia on missionary service with her husband; licensed by Presbyterian. Livingstonia. Of course this may not be linked to the Livingstone’s but my curiosity has been reignited. Any information about Donald would be much appreciated. Thanking you in anticipation.
