Hi Paul, You helped me a couple of years ago with my query about Millhaugh Mill. My ancestor John Connell was born in Cambuslang in 1763 to Robert Connell and Bathea Scott. By 1765 Robert was on his son James baptism record registered as the Miller of Milnhaugh Mill. John being the oldest son must have taken over as the Miller. John  named one of his children Mathew and I wondered if the family were maybe related to the Minister of Blantyre Mathew Connell.i haven;t found a death record for Robert or Bathea.
