I've been searching for many years through Ancestry, Scotlands People etc for information on ELISABETH CHALMERS and JAMES MAIN.
They had a son GEORGE who I believe was their first child born as their lawful son on 9th September 1835 Kirkton. They had anther son JAMES in Hamilton ( unable to find record) before moving to Liverpool where they had several more children. James was born in 1808 to George Main and Grizzell Leiper ( I think)
I would love to find James and Elisabeth's marriage. James was a baker.
