This is my father Joe Veverka. He came from Prague in 1969, married my mother Janet Duncan (from Stonefield Crescent) and i was born shortly after in 1971. Pictured here in August 1969 on a visit to Blantyre this was his first trip to Scotland and he just loved being here. Later choosing Blantyre to settle down.
