Your privacy is important and the following policy explains how this is maintained in your interest. Blantyre Project is also evolving through a publication process, some stories and photos are copyrighted and may be subject to later publication.

2.1     Blantyre Project is Blantyre’s Historical Archive. The viewing of this website is open to any person, of any age, in any location and is entirely free to do so.

Your comments may be used for inclusion in future publications or additional articles for enhancement purposes, where relevant. (c)     your submitted media, including but not limited to photos and videos. This may be used for inclusion in future publications or additional articles for enhancement purposes, where relevant. 6.1     We do not own photos, with exception of the photos we have purchased or taken oursleves. The submitter of the photo or video owns it at all times and has permitted permission for it to appear online on THIS website only. As such, Blantyre Project is a free collection belonging to many people. If you would like to use any of the content on this site, please contact me. Warning: Each photo and video has a tracking code embedded, so that if it is downloaded from the page, I can track where on the Internet it ends up, which depending on the copyright, may result in me contacting the webmaster or informing the owner of the photo that it has been distributed elsewhere without their consent.

6.4     You expressly agree that this website is for viewing, your enjoyment and where applicable for research purposes only and that the narrative is copyrighted to Blantyre Project.

6.5     Narrative on this website has been researched using information that had to be purchased or subscribed to. As such, the wording appearing throughout this website is the express ownership of Blantyre Project and may NOT be used or shared without strict written permission from webmaster. Please contact us if you wish to use any of the material on this site whether pictorial or script.

6.6       To ensure photograph owners are acknowledged, from Springtime 2016, a watermark has been embedded crediting the photograph owner for the use of the photo here. Blantyre Project holds copies of all unaltered, original and watermark free photos. If you require one of these photos for an assignment or personal use, feel free to contact me. I’m very approachable about this.

6.7      Finally, due to protracted harassment and breach of copyright including misuse of Paul Veverka’s Blantyre Project research without any credit whatsoever to his photos, narrative and articles, and due to the continued theft of his intellectual property intended for exhibitions and publications, the website “Blantyresain” and its owner Mr Bill Sim, is strictly forbid to use any of the content on this website, including photos, news, stories, articles or videos indeed covered in any Blantyre Project offline publication, under penalty of legal proceedings at the discretionary timing of Paul Veverka.
