Taking an “A.I” stroll along Barnhill, Blantyre over 100 years ago. This is Broompark Road approaching the junction of Hunthill and Bardykes Road. From an old postcard, modern technology animates the scene and brings back not just the area, but animates the people pictured.
It’s getting pretty much close to how it would have looked. The quiet streets before traffic, the care of homes neatly whitewashed and thatched. All of this now gone.
