Pictured in the late 1960’s is the bottom end of Auchinarith Road, where it rises up a little incline before meeting with Glasgow Road. The scene is only familiar now due to the existing homes on the left still there.
In more modern times, this scene looks like this (photographed in 2015). Where the old tenements used to be now the steep emkankments of the EK Expressway.
