The next couple are Janet Branklin and James McBride. The couple, both from Knightswood Terrace, Blantyre were married in St Josephs Church on Glasgow Road.

The final couple in this article is John Byres and Margaret Watson. Wed in Craigneuk, Margaret from Wishaw married Blantyre man John Byres of Teviot Way.
