Going back now to the 1960s and three weddings of Blantyre folk. These weddings all being held in 1968.
Blantyre man John Dobbie of Southview married Hamilton lady, Agnes Cassidy. Photo was by Studio Paris.
Southampton man Alan Kinchington married Blantyre lady, Martha Turkington. The couple married at Hamilton Registry office.
and finally but by no means least, Mr R. H. Stafford of Logan Street married his sweetheart Jeanette Swinborne of Heathcliffe Avenue. The couple married also at St Joseph’s Church.
We hope all the couples have had long, happy marriages. If for any reason though the people featured do not want their photos here or in the archives on the website, please simply contact me and I’ll remove them.
