Here’s a brand new, (old) photo of the kids at Calder Street School taken in either 1948 or 1949.
The photo is courtesy of Marion Brownlie (nee Cameron) who is in the photo on the left of the 2nd top row. These kids have SUCH character, so i’ve zoomed in on them to see if anybody recognises family.
Many of these children would have been born between 1935 to 37.

I am pretty sure that the girl top row far right is my mum, she would have been Sheila Smith back then. Her friend was Dorothy Hutchison and she still speaks of her often.
