I was at nessie’s school in 1956 as a 6 or 7 year old. If I was in this pic, I would be the wee girl third from the right on the first seated row, but I don’t recognise myself, I always wore a tunic with blouse underneath, she is the only one wearing such. Oh but look at all those wee faces, unhappy to say the least! Robert Hamilton, the head masters son would be in it as well as Morag Hamilton the headmasters daughter, Miss Nielsen was the primary first class teacher at that time, Miss Forrest and Miss Barr were the other early class teachers Miss Forrest especially was a nightmare, and Miss Nielsen just gave us the strap at the drop of a hat! Miss Barr taught us to knit and sew and was lovely.
