By 1980, Botterill’s had moved to the brand new Auchinraith Trading Estate from their former premises at Glasgow Road. The move saw the brand new head office being equipped with brand new equipment, including computers.

As well as keeping control of stock, the new computer kept details on finances, staff wages and much more. Here, pictured in 1980 is Botterill’s staff member Isobel Main, getting to grips with the new equipment.
