I am hoping to find more information on my great-grandfather. His name was John Moore. We believe his birthdate was 23 September 1903 in High Blantyre, Lanarkshire, Scotland. His mother's name may have been Henrietta. He would have emigrated to Calgary, Alberta, Canada at some point, although we don't know when. He may have had siblings named Marv and Robert. He died in Calgary on 23 June 1963 at the age of 59. He had 7 children with Winnifred Hodgkinson, including my grandfather Ronald.

I am a Canadian who happens to be studying in Scotland at the moment. I would love to know more about my roots and where my great-grandfather grew up. Any information would be very appreciated!
