Good Afternoon,

I am looking for information about a family of Main/Mains who we believe were in Blantyre,Lanark at least for the birth of James Mains in 1863 (give or take). I believe his parents were Robert Main and Janet Cowie.

We have been unable to locate much information on the any one the above. James migrated to the US to Pittsburgh PA with his 4 kids sometime around 1906 but we assume he was widower. If possible it would be great to find out about James's wife as well.
