This week, Margaret Stewart sent me this photo of a small palm bible which she inherited from an elderly uncle.
The bible is ‘The Soldiers Testament and the Book of Psalms”. Interestingly though, this article is about the inscription inside, which states the bible belonged once to ‘Colin McIlwraith’ aged 12. There is an address in Elm Street.
Margaret would like to know more about the little bible and how it left the McIlwraith family to go to her uncle. If Colin would like this back, she would be quite happy to pass it on.
