Nearing his destination, he quickly turned the corner of the street leading to the slaughter-house when suddenly the wheel caught the kerbstone, upsetting the vehicle, and throwing the occupants to the street.
Mr Stewart, who was previously lame in the left leg, had it again broken. The ambulance van was quickly summoned, and the injured man was removed to his home.
