1900 Shuttle Row Delivery

This photo was taken around 1900 in front of Shuttle Row, Blantyre Works. A horse and cart stops by the steps in front of the building as 2 women come out to buy something. A girl is on the other side of the cart, a boy on the left with what appears to be crutches.

To large barrels upon the cart, filled with whatever commodity the women look to be buying. Perhaps oil for cooking or lamps? Or perhaps this passing tradesman was merely selling a refreshing drink?
